Poway Boot Shop was the western wear center in Poway in the early 1980’s. Owned and operated by Glenda Colville and her father Weldon Smith, they were “the center of town” as it relates to being connected with friends and the community.  With Pomerado Club close by, the shop kept the dancers properly clothed, obviously with western boots but apparel as well.

The shop kept the western wear community well dressed, but times and styles changed, and it was time for the shop to close.
